The recent spark of challenges to Competition Commission merger decisions raises the question whether or not changes to the UK merger regime are needed and if yes, how far these changes should go. This is the question that the Scottish Competition Law Forum will examine at its Autumn Event this year, which is kindly hosted by Maclay Murray and Spens with a panel of experts comprised of David Saunders, Chief Executive of the Competition Commission, Rhodri Thompson QC of Matrix Chambers and Dr. Gunnar Niels, director at Oxera.
